Hi,
I have a OpenSuse 12.1 based deployment (dom0) with Xen stable 4.2. I am using default remus tool that comes with the xen distro and using drbd 8.3.11. And for domU, we are using SLES11SP2 (kernel 3.0.x) and it works perfectly. VM disks are replicated by DRBD (one has to enable dual primary mode in the DRBD resource configuration and using Protocol C) and Remus is able to relocate the nodes between the two xen servers. In a nutshell, with default Remus and DRBD package - every thing works.
When Remus is launched, it complains about using Protocol D although Protocol C is working fine. We need this as the remus-drbd (provided in the wiki) is built with assumption of using Debian system whereas we are on OpenSuse. Alien package have been discontinued so we can't simply install the built debian package on the OpenSuse system.
I am wondering if its possible to have the specific code for Protocol D so that we could enable it for either Drbd-8.3.9 or Drbd-8.3.11.?
Thanks.
